Oyster Mushroom Bacon

Pink oyster mushrooms are roasted in a smokey sweet sauce to taste just like bacon! This plant-based bacon is healthy, easy, and quick to make.

  • In a medium sized bowl, mix together your sauce
  • Rip the mushrooms into strips and evenly coat in the sauce
  • Air fry at 400 F for 8-10 minutes depending on how crispy you like it
    You could also oven bake this, but cook it for a little longer and flip it halfway through.

You'll get the most bacon-like flavor from pink oyster mushrooms, however this recipe can work with king oyster mushrooms as well! 
I grew my mushrooms from a grow kit (which is super easy!) because most grocery stores don't sell pink oyster mushrooms. It's a fun process and worth it for the bacon flavor!
